Full Job Description
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Prioritize and complete tasks in order to deliver desired outcomes within allotted time frames.

THE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER WILL:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact and strategic partner to leadership and employees.

  • Administer benefits programs and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Develop and maintain OSHA-compliant safety programs, training, audits and first responder activities
  • Partner with leadership to promote a positive, productive, and safe workplace.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Safety Management, or related field, Master's preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing safety programs and OSHA compliance in an industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience leading emergency response or first aid teams preferred.
  • Professional HR certification (PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) and/or safety certification (OSHA, CSP, ASP) preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance big-picture goals and hands-on execution.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of functioning as a one-person HR department.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Skilled at problem-solving and making practical decisions that balance compliance with business needs.
  • Able to handle confidential and sensitive matters with discretion.
