Job Description Summary
Dauch is seeking an experienced Plant Human Resources Manager to join our team at our Alamance, North Carolina Facility. This fully onsite role serves as a key strategic partner to plant leadership, playing a critical role in fostering a positive labor environment, strengthening employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with all employment laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate has progressive HR experience, with a strong background in labor relations, associate engagement, and performance management. This person should also be able to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives. Workday experience is a plus.

Job Description:
  • Provides mentorship, guidance, and leadership to HR team members, ensuring a high level of performance and professional growth.
  • Serves as the primary HR partner and point of contact for plant leadership, aligning HR strategies with operational objectives.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to leaders and associates on complex employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant application of company policies.
  • Leads recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to ensure staffing levels align with production and business needs.
  • Coaches and supports managers on effective employee relations practices, performance management, and corrective action processes.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO requirements.
  • Analyzes key HR metrics and develops data-driven action plans to enhance workforce performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Manages training and development initiatives to build associate capabilities and support career growth.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and respect across the plant.
  • Promotes an inclusive and equitable work environment.
  • Oversees performance management processes, including annual appraisals, goal setting, and individual development planning.
  • Proactively identifies and addresses issues and trends.
