Responsibilities

Full Job Description
The Human Resources Generalists assists the Director of People Operations with all HR activity for the company. This role will provide day to day HR support to staff, assist with running semi-monthly payroll, and assist with recruiting efforts as needed. An ideal candidate will have experience in a technology or consulting company.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Provide overall administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining employee files and processing documentation.
  • Coordinate onboarding process including scheduling onboarding sessions, completing employee I-9's, working with other facilitators, and hosting the HR orientation session
  • Respond to general HR inquiries from employees. Escalate to the Senior Human Resources Manager as needed.
  • Execute and occasionally facilitate trainings for managers and staff as needed
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for benefits inquiries and oversee employee enrollments
  • Assist with semi-monthly payroll execution with eventual goal of owning entire process
  • Assist in various HR projects such as virtual HR sessions, HR newsletters, open enrollment, and all hands meetings
  • Provide assistance to the Director of People Operations as needed
  • Assist with recruiting efforts as needed, including resume reviews and initial screening calls
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements
  • 3+ years of human resources or related experience
  • Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices
  • ADP and Lever experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
