Ferguson is looking for a dynamic Human Resources Generalist to join our Distribution Center Team and help shape the employee experience. If you thrive on building rapport, delivering exceptional service, and want to play a key role in the success of a multi-billion-dollar industry leader, this opportunity is for you!

This is an onsite opportunity at our Aurora, CO. Distribution Center.

The position supports 130+ hourly team members and 12 exempt leaders. It centers on associate engagement, leadership development, and encouraging a positive, high-performance culture throughout the Distribution Center. The HR Generalist serves as a trusted partner to both hourly associates and front‑line leaders, providing guidance on performance management, talent development, policy interpretation, etc. This role plays a critical part in supporting operational excellence by ensuring consistent HR practices, fostering open communication, and championing initiatives that enhance retention, inclusion, and overall associate experience.

The HR Generalist will also collaborate closely with the DC leadership team on staffing strategies, training programs, succession planning, and change management efforts to support a rapidly evolving, fast‑paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assesses gaps and opportunities for improvement of policies and processes relating to HR and recommend solutions.

  • Analyze, prepare, and maintain reporting for leadership team.

  • Assists in the development and delivery of training to managers, supervisors, and employees on human resource related laws and policies.

  • Researches and stays abreast of current developments, amendments, and interpretational changes in laws affecting human resources and employer/employee relations; educates and trains staff accordingly; makes recommendations for changes to policies and procedures to maintain compliance with new developments.

  • Partners with HRIS, coordinates the HR Audit process for all audits, review contracts for HR compliance, responds immediately to all audit findings, ensures new processes and policies are implemented to ensure future HR compliance with contracts and grants.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business or related experience.

  • Minimum of two years of experience in an HR position

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
