We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to Reworld's South Region HR Team primarily providing HR support for our Tulsa, OK and Huntsville, AL sites.

Please note that this candidate must reside near the Huntsville, AL area for consideration.

This role will provide HR support for all HR key processes - employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, leadership/employee development, employee engagement, and workforce planning. Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner providing creative solutions to support business priorities. This is a key role in our HR Succession plan with opportunity to have a progressive career path. Position Responsibilities:
  • Partner and coach managers on effectively engaging employees to assist in addressing and resolving people and employee relations issues
  • Use data driven HR business insights to provide solutions and recommendations to leadership
  • Support recruitment efforts within the assigned facilities; partner with facility managers to assess workforce planning needs
  • Attend career fairs at local agencies, universities, vocational schools, etc. to source talent for open roles with a focus on improving diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new hire orientations, exit/stay interviews, including analyzing trends and developing action tracker, status change forms to ensure HRIS System accuracy
    Serve as point of contact to employees regarding payroll and benefits questions.
  • Responsible for employee newsletters and employee engagement events.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and communication of company policies and procedures
  • Create an environment of positive employee relations; balance business needs with employee needs, establish trust and credibility with employees and be seen as approachable and fair


Position Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources,
  • PHR or SPHR certification, preferred
  • 3 + years of experience within Human Resources; preferably in a manufacturing environment supporting hourly and salaried workforce
  • May require some travel to South Region facilities
  • Strong business acumen and influencing skills.
  • Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously and working in an environment which requires flexibility
  • Role model for safety leadership.
  • Self-starter who has a creative approach to implementing HR practices. The successful candidate must have the demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision and to independently prioritize workload effectively. The ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees is key.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office products
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Strong knowledge of employment/labor law and progressive HR practices
    HRIS experience highly desirable, experience with Workday/UKG Kronos a plus


Physical Demands of the Role:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard

The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.

The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $69,100.00 - $91,900.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
