Human Resources Director

Amoroso Woodridge is seeking an experienced, strategic, and employee-focused Human Resources Director to lead our HR department. This role is critical to maintaining our core values, where compassion meets excellence in care.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in labor relations and collective bargaining management. You will serve as the key bridge between executive leadership, department heads, and union representatives. Your mission is to foster a collaborative culture while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Workforce Planning: Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and workforce development initiatives.
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with facility goals, focusing on talent retention and employee engagement.
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensure strict adherence to federal, state, local, and healthcare-specific labor regulations.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mitigate workplace issues impartially, ensuring fair treatment and adherence to both company policies and union contracts.
  • Labor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for union representatives, manage grievances, and lead collective bargaining agreement (CBA) negotiations.


Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in human resources management, with at least 1 year in skilled nursing/healthcare experience and collective bargaining.
