Full Job Description
DSI Real Estate Group is seeking an experienced and relationship-focused Human Resources Business Partner to support DSI Real Estate and two additional businesses under common ownership. In this role, you will partner directly with business leaders to provide strategic HR guidance while leading key initiatives in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and workforce planning.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for assigned business leaders by building trusted relationships and providing strategic guidance on organizational structure, staffing, workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, employee relations, and talent development.
  • Coach managers through employee performance issues, difficult conversations, conflict resolution, leadership development, organizational changes, and change implementation.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, conduct interviews, coordinate candidate assessments, analyze Caliper Profile results, facilitate hiring decisions, and oversee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions while facilitating performance improvement plans and disciplinary meetings.
  • Conduct new hire follow-ups and exit interviews while promoting employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Lead HR projects from planning through implementation and recommend process improvements that align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and workforce metrics to support business decisions, compensation planning, market analysis, and other strategic HR initiatives.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, training initiatives, and leadership development programs.
  • Administer employee benefits, leave programs, employee communications, and serve as the primary contact for benefit providers.
  • Maintain employee records while ensuring confidentiality, consistent application of company policies, compliance with employment laws, and administration of workers' compensation, unemployment, leave, and OSHA-related HR responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR) preferred.
  • Experience partnering directly with business leaders.
  • Strong project management, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple businesses with minimal supervision.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with operational objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, influence leaders, maintain confidentiality, and effectively manage competing priorities.
