Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner, Lead Associate supporting a program within our Defense portfolio.  This role reports to the Business Unit Senior HR Manager and will closely partner with the Program HRBP Lead to ensure strong alignment between business priorities, program needs, and people strategy execution. The position supports a primarily domestic workforce, with a small OCONUS population requiring awareness of location-specific considerations and compliance requirements.

 

The HRBP improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems, evaluating potential solutions, and coaching and counseling managers and employees. The role independently handles employee relations issues and provides guidance on complex workplace matters. In addition, this individual implements employee retention initiatives and engagement strategies to strengthen organizational effectiveness while partnering closely with HR Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and Employee Relations, to deliver aligned people strategies and solutions that support business objectives.

 

The ideal candidate will be viewed as a trusted partner who is responsive, consultative, and collaborative in driving win-win solutions while balancing business objectives with employee experience.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • 9+ years of work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Experience conducting complex employee relations investigationsAbility to safeguard sensitive and confidential information.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Government contracting experience desired.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Government contracting experience.

 

Preferred Qualification: 

  • Experience supporting international or OCONUS populations preferred
  • SHRM-CP, PHR certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Target Salary Range$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
