Job Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP II/III) provides strategic and operational HR support to business units by partnering with leadership and employees throughout the employee lifecycle. The role oversees employee relations, performance management, onboarding, HRIS administration, benefits, compliance, HR reporting, and talent development while ensuring HR programs align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a strategic HR advisor to business leaders and managers.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, employment law, and best practices.
  • Manage employee relations, investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate onboarding, transfers, promotions, organizational changes, and offboarding.
  • Administer and maintain HRIS platforms, ensuring data accuracy and workflow efficiency.
  • Manage hiring workflows through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Administer employee benefits and support annual open enrollment.
  • Develop HR dashboards, reports, and business intelligence metrics.
  • Partner with Payroll to resolve employee data and payroll issues.
  • Support employee engagement, retention, recognition, and talent development initiatives.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and ensure compliance with employment regulations.
  • Identify and implement HR technology and process improvements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Experience administering HRIS platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Experience handling employee relations, performance management, and leadership coaching.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and HR reporting experience.
  • Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
