Responsibilities• Serve as an advisor to managers by offering guidance and recommendations on all issues related to human resources management and labor relations.
• Interpret and ensure the consistent application of human resources policies, programs, collective bargaining agreements, laws, and practices.
• Support managers in managing the employee lifecycle, including staffing, performance management, talent development, labor relations, attendance, and other employee-related issues.
• Collaborate with HR centers of expertise and internal partners to implement human resources strategies, programs, and initiatives.
• Build trusting relationships with managers, employees, and union representatives to foster a positive work environment and support the achievement of organizational objectives.
• Promote consistent, fair, and compliant management practices, while contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and the evolution of human resources practices.
• Perform any other related duties consistent with the nature of the job.
Your profile- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Labor Relations.
- At least five (5) years of human resources experience as a advisor supporting front-line supervisors, managers, and employees in a unionized environment.
- Practical knowledge of various human resources disciplines in a unionized environment, including labor relations, disability and performance management, and disciplinary measures, as well as knowledge of federal and provincial labor law.
- Member in good standing of a professional human resources association in Quebec or Ontario (CRHA/CRIA or CHRP).
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
