Human Resources Manager-Top Tech Systems

Job Description

Top Tech Systems is a global industry leader in automation and data management services. All our products are designed in-house allowing us to provide excellent customer service to our clients at all levels of the supply chain.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Serve as a business partner and internal consultant as a member of the Senior Leadership Team. This position will include strategic design and implementation of HR initiatives including executive coaching to GM and Senior Leadership Team, Organizational Design to match strategy, talent development employee engagement, change management and core HR Process Development and Execution.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide business partnership to the GM to ensure a highly engaged workforce guided by the IDEX Operating Model


  • Proactively coach GM to support roll-out of vision and strategy to ensure communication drives awareness and excitement across the business


  • Drive the creation of individual development plans to build technical talent depth within the organization


  • In partnership with the managers, analyze engagement data to create associated action plans to increase and/or sustain engagement


  • Partner with GM and Senior Leaders to assess and determine talent requirements needed to match growth strategy


  • Lead Organization and Talent Discussions to assess current state talent, build robust succession plans for critical roles and identify needs to drive expected business growth


  • Determine recruitment strategies to obtain predominantly technical talent through full-time, contract and 3rd party opportunities including software engineers and developers


  • Collaborate with the GM to foster a culture built on Transformational Leadership with focused attention on Change Management best practices


  • Develop and implement opportunities to drive Diversity, Equity and Inclusion activities into the culture of Top Tech in partnership with IDEX programs


  • Manage core HR processes to ensure toolset allows employees to live our IDEX Values and support the IDEX Difference mindset


  • Lead performance management and goal setting cycles to drive clear focus and opportunity for transparent, 2-way communications


  • Assess and lead opportunities for training including DEI, Situational Leadership, Manager effectiveness, etc.


  • Create an inclusive onboarding process that allows for effective and timely assimilation into the culture and business


  • General HR Process Ownership


  • Provide coaching on general employee issues; Facilitate feedback to key stakeholders; working closely with appropriate parties to ensure timely production of appropriate documentation and sign off.


  • Ensure compliance across company policies and procedures.


  • Coordinate annual employee events and/or lead special projects.


  • Manage third party vendor relationships for employee programs.


  • Function as a subject matter expert for HR systems.


  • Support leave management processes including FMLA, Parental Leave and Disability.


  • Lead compensation planning activities for assigned customers.


  • Manage other duties and projects as assigned.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field.


  • Minimum seven (7) plus years of progressive Human Resources business partner experience required in a manufacturing environment, experience in industrial automation or data management system development highly preferred.


  • Successful track record of recruiting, developing and retaining technical talent along with selecting and developing partnerships with third-party developers.


  • Proven capability in handling complex HR initiatives and issues to drive the business forward and ensure decisions are made in line with the IDEX Values and IDEX Differences


  • Experience with Workday HRIS systems preferred

  • Strong initiative, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills. Candidate must have a naturally curious mindset, interested in learning the business and industry and capable of building credibility into the business quickly and across all functions.
  • This position requires an extremely perceptive person (organizational and situational awareness), who can relate to individuals at all levels. As unique situations present themselves, the incumbent must be sensitive to corporate needs, candidate/employee goodwill, and the public image.
