TEAM OVERVIEWKKR's Human Capital Compensation team is a strategic partner to the business, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent while supporting the firm's performance-driven culture. The team works closely with senior leadership, Human Resources, Finance, and business stakeholders to develop competitive and equitable compensation strategies across base salary, incentive compensation, equity, and rewards programs. In addition to ensuring alignment with market trends, regulatory requirements, and organizational objectives, the Compensation function provides analytical insights and guidance that support workforce planning, talent decisions, and long-term business growth.
POSITION SUMMARYReporting to the Head of Firmwide Compensation, this role will provide critical support for day-to-day administration of the Firm's compensation programs. This is a hands-on, results-oriented individual with outstanding excel skills and a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. The key differentiator will be the ability to understand and operate in a complex, fast-moving environment which requires a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Support day-to-day administration of the Firm's compensation programs, including maintaining data in the Firm's compensation system
- Key participant in the year-end compensation planning process including responding to requests from businesses/Human Capital Business Partners, conducting compensation analysis, and data audits.
- Conduct complex excel modeling to support key compensation initiatives, including compensation plan redesign
- Coordination of annual compensation benchmarking process, including competitive analyses
- Respond to ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from within the HC team and across the firm, including Finance, DE&I, and LP due diligence data requests
- Partner with HRIS lead to identify opportunities to enhance and/or streamline current reporting capabilities
- Ongoing data audits of the firm's HRIS and compensation systems to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting
QUALIFCATIONS- 2 to 5 years of progressive compensation experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly advanced Excel
- Must possess strong analytical skills, using both qualitative and quantitative data - ability to work with large amounts of data/information, analyze data, draw conclusions and make recommendations
- Proven ability to manage heavy workloads and prioritize time efficiently when faced with multiple projects
- Self-starter - "rolls up his/her sleeves and gets things done"; has high energy; a strong work ethic; ability to work independently, be creative, and entrepreneurial
- Outstanding organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate with individuals across all levels in a clear, concise, and professional manner
- Ability to work with highly confidential information and maintain discretion

This is the expected annual base salary range for this Boston-based position. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
Base Salary Range
$90,000-$130,000 USD
