About the Role:
This role is part of the Environment, Health, and Safety function and provides strategic oversight across facilities, operations, and mobile or field activities. The position independently navigates complex operational, compliance, and stakeholder challenges while exercising sound judgment and ensuring alignment with global standards across accounts or markets.
What You'll Do:
• Independently resolve complex operational and regulatory issues while balancing business, internal and external partner needs
• Communicate critical information clearly and concisely to leaders at all levels
• Promote a proactive culture that drives team engagement and compliance
• Implement and review procedures to push program consistency and efficiency
• Evaluate operational and safety risks across facilities and field activities and implement mitigation strategies
• Oversee vehicles and mobile equipment used in service delivery and ensure associated risks are effectively managed
• Ensure inspections, maintenance, compliance documentation, and incident investigations are completed and corrective actions are implemented
• Analyze injury, illness, and incident trends and recommend preventive actions
• Monitor regulatory compliance across accounts, markets, or regions and partner with management to implement sustainable solutions
• Identify emerging concerns, communicate findings and suggest corrective actions to responsible managers
• Model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values and build alignment among teams
What You'll Need:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered
• Additional certifications as required by the local authority
• Skilled in adopting and leveraging digital platforms and business systems
• Ability to independently manage sensitive and complex situations using sound judgment, discretion, and effective communication
• Leadership skills to drive quality, efficiency, and team performance
• Working knowledge of vehicle and mobile equipment safety, inspections, and compliance requirements, with experience overseeing operational assets or field activities across multiple sites or locations
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
Physical Requirements:
The ability to:
• Remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer and using standard office equipment
• Frequently operate computers, phones, and other office equipment
• Move throughout office, warehouse, manufacturing, laboratory, construction, and outdoor environments to conduct inspections, assessments, and investigations
• Walk, climb stairs, bend, reach, and navigate active work environments
• Occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Travel between facilities and work locations as needed
• Work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions while conducting site visits and field assessments
