Position Overview

The HRFS Senior Consultant partners with clients to deliver strategic guidance, functional expertise, and implementation leadership across Human Resources Functional Services (HRFS) solutions. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients, providing consultative recommendations, leading functional workstreams, and ensuring successful delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

The HRFS Senior Consultant is responsible for managing functional implementation and support activities with minimal supervision, driving best practices, mentoring junior team members, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This role collaborates closely with clients, project teams, service delivery leaders, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes that align with client objectives and Strada methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consulting & Advisory

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing functional expertise and consultative guidance.

  • Lead discussions related to system functionality, business processes, and best practices within assigned domains.

  • Recommend solutions that align client requirements with industry standards and Strada methodologies.

  • Support client decision-making through thoughtful analysis, recommendations, and risk identification.

  • Participate in governance meetings and client status reviews as required.

  • Assist in resolving complex client issues and serve as a functional escalation point when needed.

Implementation & Service Delivery

  • Lead functional implementation and support activities across the full project lifecycle, including: Discovery and requirements gathering, Solution design, Effort estimation, Configuration, Testing, Deployment, Post-production support

  • Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality expectations.

  • Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and project teams.

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to support successful outcomes.

  • Support ongoing service delivery engagements and continuous optimization initiatives.

Functional Leadership

  • Act as a subject matter expert within assigned functional areas.

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and deliverable reviews for less experienced consultants.

  • Support knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to team development.

  • Collaborate with Domain Process Leads, Service Delivery Managers, and Client Service Managers to address client needs and promote best practices.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Participate in internal initiatives that strengthen consulting methodologies and delivery standards.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, templates, and documentation.

  • Develop and maintain functional collateral, best-practice documentation, and reusable assets.

  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of Strada's implementation and service delivery framework.


Compliance & Regulatory Support

  • Monitor legislative, regulatory, and compliance developments that impact supported solutions.

  • Assess potential impacts to client environments and recommend appropriate actions.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to implement required updates and maintain compliance.


Business Development Support

  • Provide functional expertise during sales pursuits, client presentations, and solution discussions.

  • Support proposal development, estimates, and scope definition activities as needed.

  • Partner with sales and leadership teams to identify opportunities for additional client value.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience implementing and/or supporting HR, Payroll, Talent, Benefits, or related HCM solutions.

  • Experience leading client-facing projects and functional workstreams.

  • Strong understanding of business process design, system configuration, testing, and deployment methodologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting cloud-based HCM or Payroll platforms.

  • Consulting experience within HR, Payroll, Workforce Management, Benefits, or Talent solutions.

  • Experience serving as a functional lead on implementations or transformation initiatives.

  • Knowledge of compliance, regulatory, and legislative requirements impacting HR and Payroll processes.

  • Experience mentoring junior consultants and contributing to practice development initiatives.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum - Maximum:

$77,420.00 - $143,780.00
