Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement people strategy through the execution of HR processes. You will also showcase your expertise by representing HR in the business and establishing strong relationships with all business leaders and employees.
You will be mainly accountable for: - HR Leadership & Strategic Partnership - Serve as the site HR leader and partner with senior site leaders to deliver strategic HR support aligned with business objectives and organizational goals. Serve as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and people strategy.
- Comprehensive HRBP Support & Employee Relations - Provide full-spectrum HRBP support for manufacturing site employees, including employee relations, compliance guidance, performance management, and recruitment for hourly roles. Manage daily employee inquiries and ensure consistent interpretation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Employee Lifecycle, Investigations & Change Management - Oversee HR processes across the employee lifecycle-from onboarding and leave management to return-to-work coordination-while partnering with Payroll, Benefits, and Supervisors. Lead fair, thorough, and timely investigations into workplace concerns, including hotline reports, with a focus on root cause resolution. Facilitate change management initiatives and drive continuous improvement across business areas.
- Engagement, Projects & Data Integrity - Manage engagement, wellness, and recognition initiatives, as well as company social events. Actively contribute to MONM projects and maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and Workday data.
Qualifications for the role: - Bachelor's Degree with minimum 10 years related experience (HR experience in a manufacturing environment / Master's Degree - Preferred).
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, coaching techniques, investigations, and labor practices. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience driving organizational changes - Onboarding (including PowerPoint presentations & safety orientation).
- Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint - experience using Workday, Kronos preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
