Full Job Description
Position Summary:

This position is responsible for conducting the full cycle range of the recruitment processes for the organization, including sourcing, screening, and selection, job fair representation, and marketing of Sertoma as an employer of choice. Ideal candidate will ensure a positive candidate experiences from the initial application through the final offer stage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies to attract and retain talent.
  • Draft and maintain accurate job postings for exempt and non-exempt positions; ensure that postings reflect accurate job duties and responsibilities, qualifications and skills; manage multiple job openings concurrently.
  • Screen applications, conduct phone interviews, coordinate interview logistics with hiring managers; participate in interviews, and extend offers of employment.
  • Ensure timely completion of all reference checks, MVRs, pre-employment physicals, fingerprinting for staff, prior to hire.
  • Ensure prompt, professional communication with candidates and hiring managers regarding application status and general inquiries.
  • Maintain and optimize the applicant tracking system (Paycor Recruiting); train and support hiring managers on system use and functionality, and provide technical support to candidates/applicants to ensure a smooth user experience.
  • Build and maintain a network of external partnerships-including universities, community organizations, and staffing firms-to support hiring pipelines and identify qualified candidates.
  • Ensure recruitment practices are legally compliant and aligned with state/federal employment laws and internal policies.
  • Coordinate and administer CASAS testing, along with other HR staff, for applicable new hires.


Other Duties
  • Coordinate and represent the agency at job fairs and other recruitment events to promote employment opportunities.
  • Generate metrics reports for internal and/or external distribution (e.g. time-to-fill, referral sources) as needed.
  • Perform 30-day touchpoints with newly hired staff and gather feedback through the applicant experience survey.
  • Stay informed on industry, labor market, and HR trends to enhance recruitment practices.
  • Support compliance with all licensing, funding, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • Prior experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) required.
  • Minimum of three to five years of related recruitment experience required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive team attitude.
  • Employee is required to remain compliant with all state/federal, position, agency, accreditation, and funding source training/licensing requirements including but not limited to CPR and First Aid.
  • Employee is required to possess the skill and ability to utilize all applicable technology and computer programs related to his/her position. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000 per hour
