Responsibilities

  • Provide backup for benefits administration and assist with employee onboarding.
  • Collaborate with HR Manager on various HR initiatives.

Full Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under general supervision, perform complex human resources functions, including but not limited to compensation and benefits, employee relations, training, organizational development, performance management, onboarding, orientation, policy implementation and employment law compliance. Provide leadership and guidance to less-experienced Human Resources Generalists. Administer the Global Sales Incentive Plan payouts for USA and International employees.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Partners with employees and management to administer and communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations. Ensures legal and ethical compliance with state, federal and local laws.
  2. Conduct job analysis and writes job descriptions and creates job families for organization.
  3. Manages complex wage analysis, benchmarking and recommendations for pay adjustments as appropriate for promotions, market adjustment and internal equity.
  4. Creates non-exempt and exempt salary structures and adjusts as necessary; conduct market pricing for benchmark organizational, as necessary.
  5. Participate in local and/or national merit and/or salary surveys to recommend merit budgets or salary structure adjustments and ensure organizational competitiveness.
  6. Leads annual performance review and focal merit process for organization including completing compensation analysis to determine any additional increases.
  7. Investigate routine to moderately complex employee relations issues ensuring appropriate policy and legal compliance resolution, escalating highly complex issues to Human Resources Manager.
  8. Provides back-up to benefits administration, including but not limited to claim resolution, enrollment, change reporting, new-hire orientation, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefit information to employees.
  9. Collaborates with Human Resources Manager in HR initiatives such as Skills Assessments, Training/Development, Ethics, etc.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field; and 5-8+ years' experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field, a plus.
  3. Advanced knowledge in managing a broad range of Human Resources issues, including but not limited to recruitment/selection, employee relations, benefits, performance management, leave administration, compensation/benefits, workforce planning, change management and communications of programs.
  4. Solid working knowledge HRIS implementation and maintenance.
  5. Working knowledge in global recruitment environment, including foreign labor law, a plus.
  6. Working knowledge and understanding of financial, accounting, marketing and operational functions of a business.
  7. Advanced Microsoft Office Suite software applications such as Excel, Word, Power Point.
  8. Sustain current knowledge and new developments in the field with day-to-day application to subject matter.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES:
  1. Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR); or,
  2. Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), preferred.

Salary $98,000 to $115,000
