HR Operations Analyst Sr - LMS plays a crucial role in the management and maintenance of the Learning Management System. This role involves maintaining the system's functionality (audiences, content, user management, etc... ), ensuring data accuracy, and supporting internal teams with training, reporting, and troubleshooting. The Operations Analyst collaborates with HR, the Sectors and the supplier to implement Learning tools, improve user experiences, and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
Primary Responsibilities- LMS Administration: Manages day-to-day operations of the LMS, including course creation, content uploads, and system configurations.
- Build and maintain curricula, journeys and learning paths in support of business learning objectives.
- System Maintenance: Ensures the LMS platform is functioning efficiently by performing regular audits, system updates, and troubleshooting issues. Collaborate with the Sectors and LMS Vendor as needed for system upgrades or bug fixes.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generates regular and custom reports on learning activities, course completions, compliance, and user performance. Provide insights and analysis to support decision-making and learning effectiveness.
- End-User Support: Serves as the point of contact for users, offering technical support and resolving issues related to access, functionality, and system navigation.
- Content Management: Assists with the upload, organization, and management of learning content in the LMS. Ensure all learning materials are up-to-date and properly cataloged.
- Process Improvement: Identifies opportunities to streamline processes, enhance user experience, and implement system improvements in alignment with organizational goals.
- Training and Documentation: Provides training to employees and stakeholders on how to use the LMS effectively. Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs, and other support documentation.
- Compliance & Data Integrity: Ensures the LMS is compliant with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards, particularly regarding data privacy and e-learning certifications.
- Vendor Collaboration: Works with third-party vendors to resolve technical issues and implement system enhancements.
- Project Support: Participates in the implementation of the new Cornerstone LMS
Required Skills and Education- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience working with Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Sumtotal or similar)
- Sense of urgency for goal achievement and enjoys varied activities, including multiple, simultaneous projects.
- Results focused, with accountability for results and outcomes.
- Strong technical understanding of LMS platforms and learning technologies.
- Experience with reporting and data analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to train and support non-technical users on the LMS.
- Knowledge of e-learning standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI) and compliance regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues swiftly to maintain system integrity and performance.
- Data Management: Expertise in managing and analyzing data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and security across the HRIS.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Capable of communicating complex ideas and concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders in an easily understood way, which includes active listening, clear and concise writing, and public speaking and facilitation.
- Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills necessary for consulting with executive level leaders, building relationships, establishing trust, and collaborating effectively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization.
- Strong Data analysis and interpretation: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to assess current state, propose solutions and measure results.
- Ethical and professional conduct: Adherence to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of work, including confidentiality, integrity, and transparency.
Preferred Skills and Education- Cornerstone Expertise: 3+ years as a Cornerstone Administrator
- Project Experience: Participation in an LMS migration or major upgrade (e.g. moving from legacy system to Cornerstone)
- Certifications: Cornerstone Certified Administrator
