Position Summary


The HR Operations Partner, Americas plays an important role in supporting employees, managers and leaders across the Americas region. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will work across the full employee lifecycle, helping to ensure employees receive an excellent experience from recruitment and onboarding through to development, benefits administration and offboarding.

This is a broad and varied HR generalist role where no two days are likely to be the same. You'll work closely with employees, managers, external providers and colleagues across the wider Quortex and Lumine organisations, helping to deliver effective people processes while contributing to a positive and inclusive employee experience.

The role offers significant exposure to international HR practices and provides opportunities to participate in regional and global HR projects. It is well suited to someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in delivering excellent service and is interested in developing their career within a growing global organisation.


Key Responsibilities


Employee Lifecycle Management


• Own and administer all employee lifecycle activities for employees, contractors and EOR workers across the Americas.

• Coordinate onboarding activities including employment documentation, system setup, inductions and manager readiness.

• Prepare and manage employment changes including promotions, compensation changes, transfers, leave arrangements and contractual updates.

• Coordinate offboarding activities, ensuring all employment, payroll, benefits and system actions are completed accurately and on time.

• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within Workday and associated systems.


Employee & Manager Support


• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers throughout the region.

• Provide practical guidance on HR policies, procedures and employment-related matters.

• Support managers with performance, attendance, leave management and routine employee relations issues.

• Escalate complex employee relations matters appropriately whilst maintaining a positive employee experience.

• Support compliance with applicable US and Canadian employment laws and company policies


Recruitment & Talent Support


• Support managers throughout the recruitment process including interview scheduling, candidate communications and offer administration.

• Ensure a smooth and professional experience for candidates and new hires.

• Assist with talent review, performance management and employee development processes.


Payroll, Benefits & Provider Management


• Coordinate employee data changes and payroll inputs with payroll providers and Finance teams.

• Manage relationships with external benefits brokers, insurers, EOR providers and employment service vendors.

• Support annual benefits renewals, enrolment activities and employee communications.

• Assist employees with benefits-related queries and ensure timely resolution of issues.


Projects & Continuous Improvement


• Lead or support regional implementation of global HR initiatives, policy changes, organisational transitions and systems implementations across the Americas.

• Support policy development and process harmonisation projects.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, employee experience and operational effectiveness

• Produce HR reports and workforce information as required.

• Assist with policy implementation and employee communications.

• Experience using Workday or a similar enterprise HRIS.

• Experience within an international technology or software environment would be advantageous.

• International HR exposure is desirable but not essential.
