The RoleAs HR Manager - Americas, you will act as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, ensuring that our people strategy is aligned with business priorities. You will lead all HR activities across multiple countries, balancing global standards with local requirements in a complex and dynamic environment.
You will play a critical role in building a high-performing, values-driven culture, while ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and strong employee engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnering & Leadership- Partner closely with Regional Directors and management teams to support business strategy and organizational development
- Provide expert advice on workforce planning, organizational design, and people-related risks
Employee Relations & Compliance- Lead and manage employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary processes, and terminations
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws across all countries within scope
- Maintain robust, audit-ready HR practices and documentation
Talent & Organization Development- Drive talent management, succession planning, and leadership development
- Support workforce planning to meet operational and future business needs
Compensation & Benefits- Support development and implementation of competitive and compliant compensation structures
- Contribute to annual compensation reviews, bonus processes, and benchmarking
HR Operations & Delivery- Ensure effective HR service delivery across recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and benefits
- Maintain high standards of HR data quality, reporting, and system usage
Change & Continuous Improvement- Lead and support organizational change initiatives and HR projects
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and service delivery
Culture & Engagement- Promote Archer's values and foster a strong, inclusive and performance-oriented culture
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives
Vendor & Cost Management- Manage external HR vendors (e.g. payroll, benefits, immigration), ensuring quality and cost efficiency
What We Are Looking ForExperience- 7+ years of HR experience, including regional or multi-country responsibility
- Proven track record as an HR Business Partner supporting operational leadership
- Strong experience in employee relations and labor law across multiple jurisdictions
- Experience from oil & gas, energy, or other operational/industrial environments is an advantage
- Exposure to compensation & benefits and organizational change processes
Education- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Skills & Personal Qualities- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgement
- Structured, proactive, and able to manage complexity in a fast-paced environment
- Data-driven mindset with solid analytical capability
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Location & ScopeThe role is based in Houston and supports operations across the Americas region and requires strong awareness of cultural and legal differences across multiple countries.
