As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a key role in leading day-to-day HR operations, champion our team members, and keep our organization compliant, supported, and running smoothly. This role thrives on variety, takes pride in getting the details right, and is a trusted partner to both leadership and team members.
What You'll Do- Lead day-to-day HR operations and coordinate departmental goals, processes and programs.
- Drive companywide recruiting, hiring, and onboarding to attract and retain top talent.
- Support performance management, team member reviews, and professional development initiatives.
- Manage weekly payroll processing, including rates, taxes, deductions, and quarterly and year-end filings.
- Administer benefit programs, insurance plans, and COBRA, including renewals and enrollment.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state HR laws, EEO/Affirmative Action plans, prevailing wage, and required reporting.
- Oversee OSHA, safety, and training requirements, along with Workers' Compensation administration and reporting.
- Maintain compliance with union and collective bargaining agreements.
- Maintain the Employee Handbook, process documentation, and the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Safeguard confidential information and uphold the company's Confidentiality Agreement.
What You Bring- Education & Experience: High School diploma or GED with 8-10 years of HR related experience.
- SHRM certification - SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP (preferred).
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
