Short Description

The HR IT Value Stream Solution Architect is accountable for the end-to-end ownership of HR technology delivery and operations. This role combines solution architecture leadership, hands-on functional expertise, day-to-day operational management, and business demand governance across the HR IT value stream. The role ensures that HR systems-SuccessFactors, Payroll, and Time & Attendance-are stable, compliant, cost-effective, and continuously evolving to meet business needs. The position acts as the single point of accountability for solution integrity across run, change, and new demand.

Hands-On SAP Functional Expertise
  • Design end to end HR solutions across systems and integrations
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security, and compliance requirements
  • Own architectural decisions, trade offs, and design approvals
  • Validate functional and technical designs from vendors and internal teams
  • Ensure architectural integrity across projects, enhancements, and operational changes

Operations & Incident Management
  • Own day-to-day operational stability of HR IT systems:
    • Incident, problem, and change management
    • Root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Provide hands-on functional support for:
    • Payroll processing issues
    • Time and attendance discrepancies
    • HR data and integration failures
    • Coordinate with vendors, SAP, and internal technical teams to restore service quickly
    • Ensure compliance with audit, ITGC, SOX, and regulatory payroll requirements

Demand Management & Delivery Governance
  • Act as the front door for HR IT demand:
    • Intake, analyze, and clarify business requests
    • Translate demand into solution options, estimates, and delivery approaches
  • Prioritize demand based on: Business value, risk and urgency, capacity and architectural impact
  • Govern delivery execution by:
    • Partnering with PMO and system integrators
    • Overseeing scope, dependencies, and risks (RAID)
    • Supporting SIT, UAT, go-live, and hyper care phases

License & Vendor Management
  • Own HR IT license management, including:
    • SuccessFactors module usage and entitlements
    • Payroll and workforce system licensing
  • Monitor consumption, ensure compliance, and identify optimization opportunities
  • Support vendor management activities such as performance oversight, contract and renewal discussions, technical validation of vendor proposals, etc.


How to thrive in this role?

  • You hold a university degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • You have 7 to 12 years of experience in HR IT, enterprise applications, SuccessFactors or equivalent SAP environments.
  • You have demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect on large or complex HR initiatives.
  • You have experience working in multi-vendor and supplier delivery models.
  • You have a strong understanding of:
    • End-to-end integrations
    • Data flows across HR, Finance, and external providers
  • You have strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in French and English.
