How you will make an impact:

The HR Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's workforce and culture by developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives. You oversee employee relations, performance management, and compliance, ensuring that HR practices align with business goals. By fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee development, you enhance overall productivity and job satisfaction. Your leadership in managing change and driving organizational development supports the company's growth and adaptability. Additionally, you provide strategic insights to senior management, contributing to informed decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Develop and Implement HR Policies: You will develop and implement human resources policies that align with the company's strategic objectives and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Support Employee Development: You will support employee development by implementing training programs, conducting performance reviews, and enhancing job satisfaction.
  • You will manage and coach on career ladders, and drive alignment with accompanying compensation practices.
  • Manage Employee Relations: You will handle employee issues and disputes, fostering a positive work environment and maintaining good employee relations.
  • Administer Compensation and Benefits: You will design and manage compensation and benefits packages, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Ensure Compliance: You will ensure the company remains in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, mitigating risks and maintaining a fair workplace.
  • Analyze HR Metrics: You will analyze HR metrics and data to report on the effectiveness of HR initiatives and make informed decisions to improve HR practices.
  • You will lead with a continuous improvement mindset and incorporate AI into the design and functionality of the role to alleviate tactical burden.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field.
  • 10-15+ years' HR experience in a multi-shift manufacturing setting or commensurate experience.
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of HR, with a broad base of business knowledge and acumen.
  • Proficiency in recruitment and selection at all organizing levels; employee relations including counseling of managers and other employees, investigating, and resolving difficult situations with legal ramifications.
  • Experience in helping to lead an organization through cultural change and growth.
  • For all U.S. positions: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.

Preferred:
  • SHRM certified or holds a similar certification.
  • Master's Degree
