HR Business Partner - Benefits- Compensation: $80k - $90k annually (Negotiable - based on experience)

The ideal candidate for Care Partners HR Business Partner will have at least five years of progressive HR experience, strong knowledge of workplace safety and workers' compensation processes, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage sensitive employee matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
This position serves to support key HR functions with a strong focus on
Workers' Compensation, workplace safety, benefits, leave management, compliance, and employee relations. This is a hands-on role working closely with employees, managers, leadership, insurance carriers, TPAs, medical providers, and benefits vendors.
HR Business Partner- Requirements: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- Hands-on Workers' Compensation and workplace injury experience
- Experience with benefits administration
- Working knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, ADA, leave, accommodations, and return-to-work
- Experience with workplace safety and OSHA recordkeeping preferred
- Strong employee relations and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR a plus
Essential Functions:- Manage workplace injuries, safety concerns, and Workers' Compensation claims
- Coordinate injury reporting, documentation, claims follow-up, and medical restrictions
- Manage return-to-work, modified duty, FMLA, CFRA, and ADA accommodations
- Administer employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement
- Support open enrollment, benefits changes, vendor coordination, and invoice review
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment, safety, leave, and Workers' Comp regulations
- Partner with employees and managers on employee relations and HR concerns
- Track HR, safety, claims, benefits, and return-to-work metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, safety programs, and employee services
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and medical information
