Job Title: HR Advisor

Location: Springfield, IL - Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Position Summary

Serves as a trusted Human Resources partner, with a focus on providing employee relations support, as well as policy guidance, and HR consulting to employees and leaders. Acts as a Tier 2 escalation resource for complex HR matters while ensuring compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices. Supports a positive employee experience through responsive, customer-focused service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Tier 2 escalation resource for employee relations, policy interpretation, and sensitive HR matters.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, investigations, documentation support, and issue resolution to employees and managers.
  • Interpret and apply employment laws, HR policies, and best practices to ensure consistent and compliant decision-making.
  • Conduct workplace investigations, fact gathering, documentation review, and case management activities.
  • Manage escalated HR cases, ensuring timely resolution, accurate documentation, and adherence to service standards.
  • Support leave of absence, accommodations, disability, and protected leave processes.
  • Assist with performance management, corrective actions, separations, unemployment claims, and compliance-related activities.
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and support business recommendations.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence, Shared Services teams, and business leaders to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
  • Support employee engagement, onboarding, workforce planning, training, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation while handling sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements

Salary Range: $76,600.00 - $106,450.00
  • Salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc.
