HPS iMPS Global Category Manager

Description -

The Managed Services Worldwide Category team is searching for top caliber talent to join our team. We are looking to complement our team with an individual who will be responsible for driving iMPS (indirect Managed Print Services) Category business operations and field enablement. This individual will be chartered to drive growth in our indirect MPS business through Service & Solution launch readiness, 4P offer management & supporting Market Category and HP Channel. This empowered individual will function in a worldwide capacity, focusing on portfolio adoption, enablement, planning & initiatives through engagement with our HPS Markets, GRO Channel Organization, Print HW Category, MPS Portfolio, and GTM teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • 4P Category Business Management
    • Ensure clarity with markets & stakeholders on iMPS (focus on pMPS) business priorities, programs & initiatives.
    • Create, Manage, and Monitor 4P action plan for iMPS Services business with Market Category.
    • Strategic engagement with Channel team to understand opportunities & align upon plans to accelerate MPS services adoption through the channel.
    • Develop strong working relationships with HPS MS Markets, GSS, Channel & Portfolio teams. Partner with WS Market Finance, Planning & other teams in managing Flash, Quota & Budget achievements.
    • Facilitate reviews for management staff that summarize key business issues, initiatives, help needed & status.


  • iMPS NxI Solution Introduction & Field Readiness
    • Serve as the WW Channel representative and decision authority in Discover-to-Concept (D2C) and NxI governance forums
    • Support launch communications, Nxi launch forums, and post-launch handover to markets.
    • Ensure proper PBM/Channel training conducted to enable sales of new offers.
    • Monitor adoption of new solution, drive actions where appropriate.
    • Validate channel value proposition, market relevance, and prioritization for proposed offers in partnership with Portfolio and Marketing Teams.


  • Field Enablement
    • Capture & triage Market & Channel team iMPS 4P requests. Aggressively pursue solution & closure of actions in partnership of Key Stakeholders. Ensure clear communication with requestors & stakeholders on status & priority.
    • Monitor business & offer performance. Drive focus & action to course correct & capitalize on opportunities.


Qualifications

Education and Experience Required
  • First level university degree required, MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of business management, contractual services experience, category, business and/or P&L management.

Knowledge and Skills Required
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record in leading cross-function teams by influence, with the ability to collaborate and effectively represent your team at executive levels.
  • HP Managed Services or Extensive Print Channel Management Experience: Familiarity with Print and/or Service Market.
  • Strategic Vision: Demonstrated capability in developing and implementing requirements aligned with broader business objectives, optimizing processes for maximum efficiency and scalability.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business management processes, metrics, and operational frameworks. Experience in driving business reviews, planning, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Program Management: Ability to positively advance projects across organizational boundaries.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management
  • Strong influencing and consensus-building skills

The pay range for this role is $130,700 to $205,200 USD annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
