Position SummaryHP Business Partner utilizes a strong people focused business acumen to influence the deployment of effective people practices in the business unites they support. They will serve as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues and function as employee champions and change agents. They will assess and anticipate HR related needs at the department level and seek to develop integrated solutions.
They serve as a HP liaison in the field, using a data driven approach to influence decisions that influence and inform their people and culture practices. They partner to empower local leaders through coaching and consultation in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development, talent acquisition and leadership development.
Responsibilities- You will establish relationships with leaders to support effective job design, short and long-range staffing plans, selection, orientation, compensation, recognition and rewards, employee and labor relations, leadership development, performance management, and workforce development strategies
- You will be responsible for the recruitment strategy for assigned areas in partnership with Talent Acquisition
- You will support managers to improve their results in customer service, employee and provider engagement, the retention of talented employees and providers, and the creation of supportive, caring and high-performance work cultures
- You will partner with employees and leaders to communicate various HP policies and procedures
- You will ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws and serves as the primary contact in investigating and responding to charges of violation of such laws
- You will advise management as the first point of contact in all cases of employment termination, disciplinary action, performance improvement activities, and workforce reductions
Requirements- Associate's degree in related field and two (2) years professional-level experience in human resources
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Recognized human resources professional certification preferred (PHR, SPHR, etc.)
- Experience in interpretation of personnel policy and managing a wide range of employee issues
- Continued pattern of learning and growth in career

Pay and Benefit ExpectationsWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $79,830.40 - $114,878.40 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
