The Administrative Nursing Supervisor provides nursing administration on evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts ensuring comprehensive nursing services and quality patient care. The Nursing Supervisor provides day-to-day management of unit operations, thus allowing the Nursing Services Manager opportunity to focus on long-term planning, budget, goals, outcomes, decision-making and other higher-level management functions. The Nursing Supervisor acts as a representative of administration and coordinates hospital and department activities on assigned shift. The Nursing Supervisor has administrative authority during their assigned shift and is the initial Incident Commander in any situation where Emergency Codes are activated. The Nursing Supervisor will be required to travel between both campuses.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 1 year of Charge Nurse or leadership experience with demonstrated leadership abilities

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
