Full Job Description
We are hiring a full-time or part-time hospitalist physician assistant for our nocturnist role. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively working overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:
  • Join a team of Physicians and fellow APPs at Clovis Community Medical Center.
  • Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world. Become an integral member of the hospitalist team and community.

Qualifications:
  • Board-certified physician assistant.
  • Active California license preferred.
  • MUST have one year of hospitalist experience within the last two years.
  • Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:
  • This is a nocturnist position.
  • 7-days-on/7-days-off schedule.
  • Shifts are 12 hours in length; 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cross -cover patients and respond to rapid response alerts.

  • Work alongside a nocturnist physician.
  • Our patient population is diverse, so we are looking for a nurse practitioner who enjoys addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs.
  • Utilize Epic EMR.

Rewards and Compensation:
  • Annual compensation: $180,000 salary + bonuses, based on the number of shifts worked.
