Hospitalist (Internal Medicine)

About this role:

We are searching for collaborative hospitalists to join an inpatient team rotating at Utah Valley Hospital.

  • This position includes a $15,000 starting bonus, relocation assistance (determined by distance), and a Value Recognition Payment up to $20,000 annually based on meeting quality goals, thoughtful stewardship of our healthcare system, and achieving high standards in performance reviews as they relate to citizenship.

  • This is a great opportunity to provide direct inpatient care with the assistance of a nurse coordinator

  • Hospitalist will be expected to participate in our teaching service to provide clinical education to residents and medical students.

  • As a 501c3 organization, our caregivers are eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)

  • You will practice primarily at Utah Valley Hospital with regular rotations required at Spanish Fork Hospital and with the Tele-Hospitalist service.

  • While this is classified as a day shift opportunity, a balance of swing and night shifts will also be necessary though the majority of nights will be staffed by Nocturnists.

What you’ll bring:

  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

  • Residency training Internal Medicine

  • Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine

  • Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one

  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process

  • Current BLS Certification is required before the first day of employment
