Reportingto the Nurse Manager, the staff RN performs professional role functions inaccordance with scope of practice and professional standards, includingdemonstrating the knowledge and ability to use and/or lead the scope ofpractice, professional standards and accreditation / regulatory standards,scope of practice for LVN and all other nursing personnel e.g. unlicensedassistive personnel. The RN demonstrates the ability to assess their ownprofessional role performance, current knowledge of theory and principlesrelated to discipline specific practice, and the ability to use a populationbased approach to determine patient needs .

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:
1. Graduate of an accredited RegisteredNurse (RN) program required.
2. One-year experience as aprofessional nurse preferred
3. BSN preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
1. Current license as aRegistered Nurse in the State of California.
2. Current BLS (American HeartAssociation) certification required.
3. Valid CA driver's license and an automobile, with current registrationand insurance, for field work required.
