Hospice Director of Clinical Services (DCS/DON) to lead our growing hospice program based in
Tacoma, WA.
Position Details- Location: Tacoma, WA (Hybrid)
- Schedule: Full-Time
- Salary: $130,000-$160,000 DOE
- Industry: Hospice & Palliative Care
What You'll Do- Provide leadership and oversight for hospice clinical operations.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, state, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and develop clinical managers and staff.
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and retention efforts.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and maintain survey readiness.
- Partner with agency leadership on budgeting, staffing, and strategic growth.
- Support exceptional patient and family care through interdisciplinary collaboration.
QualificationsRequired- Active Washington RN license (or ability to obtain).
- BSN required.
- Current BLS certification.
- 3+ years of healthcare leadership experience.
- 1+ years of hospice leadership or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of hospice regulations and Medicare Conditions of Participation.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred- MSN.
- Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience.
- Hospice certification.
