Full Job Description
Role Responsibilities The General Manager's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Lead the day-to-day operations and execution of HMBL's business strategy. - Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives to expand HMBL's distribution through clinics, retail, and direct-to-consumer channels - Manage the annual operating budget and allocate resources to achieve business objectives. - Monitor business performance, including revenue, profitability, gross margin, and key performance indicators. - Develop annual business plans and provide regular operational and financial reporting to the founders. - Build and maintain relationships with retailers, distributors, healthcare organizations, physician groups, and strategic partners. - Identify and pursue new business development opportunities through networking, outreach, and strategic partnerships. - Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, business proposals, and educational materials. - Coordinate product inventory, forecasting, fulfillment, and logistics across distribution channels. - Serve as the primary operational contact for Rejuvenation clinic leadership and other key stakeholders. - Monitor product sales performance and identify opportunities to improve growth and market penetration. - Develop and oversee marketing initiatives, including digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, in-clinic marketing, and promotional activities. - Coordinate external vendors, agencies, designers, photographers, and other business partners. - Collaborate with founders and product development partners on product launches and commercialization strategies. - Develop pricing, promotional, wholesale, retail, and direct-to-consumer strategies. - Establish and continuously improve operational processes, systems, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Identify operational risks and implement solutions to improve efficiency and scalability. - Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to support business strategy. - Represent HMBL at industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and business meetings. - Recruit, coach, and lead future team members as the organization grows. - Lead projects from concept through implementation while ensuring timelines, budgets, and business objectives are achieved. - Perform other duties as assigned in support of business operations and organizational growth. Role Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Operations Management, or a related field. MBA is considered an asset. - Minimum 3 - 5 years of progressive leadership experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), skincare, beauty, retail, e-commerce, operations, or a related industry. - Demonstrated experience growing a consumer brand or business. - Strong knowledge of business operations, sales, marketing, business development, and commercial strategy. - Experience working with retailers, distributors, brokers, or national retail partners is considered an asset. - Experience with inventory management, forecasting, supply chain, and logistics. - Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, pricing strategies, forecasts, and business performance metrics. - Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. - Demonstrated ability to independently lead projects from planning through execution. - Highly organized with exceptional time management and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint). - Experience with CRM, project management, inventory management, e-commerce, or business software platforms (e.g., Shopify, HubSpot, Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp, or similar) is considered an asset. - Willingness to travel occasionally within Canada.
