Position Overview

Sidwell Friends School's Upper School campus in Washington, DC, seeks an Interim Full-Time History Teacher for the [redacted] academic year.

Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in History or a related field (an advanced degree is preferred) and have a minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably at the high school level. Experience teaching African History as a standalone course or teaching the history of Africa within a World History curriculum is required.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to inspire, engage, and support students while fostering a dynamic learning environment. Salary & Benefits
