Snapshot of your Day
As a High Voltage (HV) Superintendent - Self-Perform Installation & Commissioning, you will be a key field leader responsible for the safe, high-quality, and efficient execution of substation and transmission projects using Siemens Energy's in-house crews. You will lead field teams in the direct installation, wiring, testing, and commissioning of high voltage systems, working hands-on where needed to ensure technical accuracy and schedule adherence.
This is not a purely oversight role-you will be expected to be in the field, boots-on-the-ground, leading by example. You will coordinate work plans, enforce EHS standards, troubleshoot technical issues, and serve as the main on-site interface between project management, engineering, and field operations. Your expertise will directly support the successful delivery of complex grid infrastructure critical to enabling a low-carbon, resilient energy future.
This position requires a high level of autonomy, accountability, and adaptability. Projects may involve greenfield substations, brownfield upgrades, transmission expansions, with voltages ranging from 115kV up to 765kV. Travel to various project sites across North America is required
