Qualifications

• Master's degree in teaching or educational leadershiprequired.
• Current Michigan teaching certificate with preferred teaching experience.
• Must possess or be able to obtain administrative certification within 3 years; administrative experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated strong written and oral communication abilities.
• Submission to and passing of a criminal background check is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assess school strengths and needs while communicating program details to parents and the community.
• Plan, supervise, and evaluate the work of both professional and support staff.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with staff and the public.
• Model the effective use of technology in educational settings.
