Thought Leader Liaison, Hematology – North Central/Great Lakes/Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana

  • The Thought Leader Liaison (TLL), Hematology builds and manages strategic relationships with a select group of U.S. external experts (EEs), with a deliberate focus on cultivating partnerships and insights across both academic and community oncology settings to ensure commercial strategies reflect the realities of where patients receive care.

  • This role is accountable for generating strategic insights, translating science to actionability, and building brand advocacy. This includes leading strategic engagement with key external experts through robust engagement planning and insight generation aligned to brand and therapeutic area strategies.

  • The TLL generates strategic insights through ongoing interactions with external experts, congresses and executive engagements, while working closely with US/Global Commercial, Medical, and Regulatory partners to translate field perspectives into meaningful business actions that shape brand strategy.

  • TLLs support the oncology in-line brands within their geography while helping prepare the organization for successful oncology launches through disease-state engagement, external expert partnership, and insights that inform future commercial strategy.

  • Sixgeographieswill cover the UnitedStates, each aligned with an Oncology Field Vice President, who will be animportant stakeholder.

Key Responsibilities:

External ExpertEngagement & Relationship Management

  • Develop and execute regional strategic external expert engagement plans designed to build long-term partnerships while generating meaningful commercial insights, especially within the community setting.

  • Plan and execute ExternalExpertengagements aligned to brand priorities andExternal Expertneedsoutside of advisory and congress events, planning andmaintaininga consistent level of execution as aligned with TLL Director. This includes a mix of live and virtual engagements in your geography.

  • Build regional brand advocacy segment and manage a thought leader network (network mapping) to optimize engagement and insight generation.

Insight Generation & Strategic Impact

  • Gather and synthesize regional insights from external experts through forums such as 1:1 interactions, congress, publication, and provide them to the brand team.

  • Share synthesized insights with commercial leadership to help shape the following, but not limited to, brand strategy, resource allocation, customer engagement strategies, and launch planning.

  • Help identify emerging treatment paradigm shifts in your respective region, competitive dynamics, biomarker evolution, and unmet needs that may influence future commercial strategy.

  • Seek compliant External Expert feedback on initiatives and materials.

Advisory, Peer to Peer& Congress Engagements:

  • Execute and synthesize advisory boards, expert consultancies, and other strategic engagement forums to answer critical business questions and inform commercial decision making.

  • Coordinate and support External Expert executive interactions with commercial leadership.

  • Shape peer-to-peer education content through speaker identification, training/operations support, and relationship management.

  • Participate in key local, regional, and national congresses and serve asonsitehost for congress product theaterspeakers and EEs.

  • Capture and synthesize congress insights to identify emerging trends, competitive developments, and implications for brand strategy.

CrossFunctional & Operational Excellence:

  • Partner effectively withmedical, legal, compliance, regulatory, and marketingteams to ensure external engagements are strategically aligned and within GSK policies and adhering to PHARMA guidelines

  • Apply strong project management skills to manage multiple prioritiessimultaneously.

  • Manage agency and vendor partners to ensuretimely, highquality execution.

  • Understandrisk associated with the activities on Strategic Engagement andbe adept and agile in their management and mitigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an Oncology TLL

  • Multiple Myeloma and Myelofibrosis

  • Master27s degree.

  • Strong account management and crossfunctional leadership experience.

  • Marketing and/or sales management background.

  • Advanced project management and organizational skills.

  • Proven adherence to regulatory and compliancestandardswith proactive risk identification and mitigation.
