Job DescriptionThe Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst is seeking a full time Hematologist and/or Oncologist to join as faculty. We are seeking a highly motivated physician interested in working with an urban, ethnically diverse, underserved population in a dynamic and supportive academic setting. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.
Responsibilities- Chemotherapy infusion, consultations, teaching of Residents, medical students and participation in clinical research.
- The candidate will be doing both Hematology and Oncology and should be comfortable treating hematological malignancies and coagulation disorders.
- Provide direct clinical care in the in-patient and outpatient settings for patients under the care of the Department of Medicine's Hematology and Oncology Services.
Qualifications- MD degree
- Board certified or boar eligible in Hematology and Oncology
- Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number
CompensationWe offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications. We also offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package including CME. Compensation ranges from 342K to 367K FTE, annualized including on-call coverage and faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year.
