Overview:
Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP)or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Hematology/Oncology team at our location in Chicago. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative, patient-centered environment delivering comprehensive cancer care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in outpatient Hematology/Oncology settings under physician supervision.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage care for oncology and hematology patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and monitor treatment response.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, side effects, and ongoing care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to coordinate patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using EMR systems.

Qualifications
• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Illinois.
• Certification as an Adult-Gerontology or Family Nurse Practitioner (AGNP/FNP) or PA-C required.
• Oncology nursing experience strongly preferred; new graduates with oncology RN background may be considered.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual skills are a plus, especially in Spanish or Ukrainian.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $125,000-$140,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
