Job Description:

Role Summary

Lead a cross-functional team of sales, technical support, application, and product support professionals to strengthen customer loyalty and drive growth within a designated industry segment.

What You Will Do
  • Deliver Original Equipment Caterpillar (OEC) sales, market share, and business plan while achieving dealer revenue growth targets for assigned products, services, and market segments.
  • Develop and execute sales, marketing, and merchandising plans that support business growth and customer engagement.
  • Champion customer satisfaction by resolving product and commercial issues and managing service goodwill investments within the industry segment.
  • Identify new sales and industry channeling opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and drive initiatives that improve customer satisfaction and long-term business performance.

Business Development: Identifies and develops growth opportunities by exploring new markets, strengthening customer engagement, and supporting business expansion strategies.

Understanding of Competitive Landscape: Strong connection to the Heavy Rents industry. Identifies and develops growth opportunities with a focus on industry activity and dynamic business landscape, strengthening customer engagement, and supporting business expansion and dealer growth strategies.

Top Candidates Will Have:

  • 5-7 years of direct field sales experience in a related industry, with a strong understanding of customer needs, dealer operations, and market growth opportunities.
  • Proven leadership experience building high-performing teams through collaboration, innovation, and transformational leadership.
  • Knowledge of technology solutions that support rental fleet performance, safety, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Safety-focused and customer-centered mindset, with the ability to support rental operations involving frequent equipment movement, relocation, and facility awareness.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive profitable dealer growth by balancing customer demand, fleet availability, utilization, and long-term business performance.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a focus on understanding Margin Contribution, rotational fleet performance, and depreciation strategies.

  • Position location is in Irving, TX.
  • Relocation assistance is available.
  • Travel for this role is up to 70%.

Summary Pay Range:

$172,630.00 - $258,950.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
