Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• 2 years of technical training for entry-level consideration.
• Proficient in hydraulics and electrical system repair.
• Ability to read hydraulic/electrical schematics and use digital voltmeters (DVM).
• Knowledge of CANbus and PLC systems.
• Must provide own adequate tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and fuel systems on heavy equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance including lubrications and fluid changes.
• Document detailed records of maintenance and repairs done.
• Educate customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Travel to customer job sites for repairs and training as needed.
• Mentor and train apprentice technicians.
