Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification-Off Road required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician.
• Experience specifically with Haul Truck CAT 793+ is essential.
• Background in handling large off-highway equipment from Caterpillar, Liebherr, Komatsu, or Hitachi is key.
• Experience in Oil Sands or large open pit mining environments is preferred.
• Must hold safety tickets, particularly the Common Safety Orientation (CSO) from Energy Safety Canada.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment in the off-road sector.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on various mining equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Participate in continuous training to keep skills current and relevant.
