Job Overview

We are looking for a Field Technician to work on construction equipment! As a Field Technician, you'll play a vital role in delivering great service and support to our customers with their construction equipment. This is your chance to work in a dynamic, safety-first environment where your technical skills and dedication make a direct impact. This is a union-represented position and includes union wages and benefits.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Diagnostic and repair experience with heavy equipment (construction equipment such as excavators, bull dozers, trucks, etc.)
  • Ability to participate in major repair, rebuild, or replace engines and other major components
  • Knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, electronic, etc. systems
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft products as well as industry software
  • Ability to read and write the English language
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer support.
  • Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training and meetings to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set.
  • Ability to convey repair details in clear and accurate service notes for assigned work orders
  • Operation of heavy equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Hiring Range

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $51.38. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
