Position Overview:Finning is growing fast-and so are the opportunities! We're hiring Heavy Duty Mechanics to support our expanding operations and ongoing projects.
If you are a Heavy Duty Mechanic with compact equipment experience and are looking for a 7x7 shift then joining our Edmonton team is for you!
Job Description:Major Job Functions:- Troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment
- Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
- Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)
- Interact with customers, sales support, and the rest of the Finning team
- Work with the Service Supervisor and Lead Hand on various tasks as required
Qualifications:- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification
- Dual Tickets will be an asset
- Previous Caterpillar experience is an asset
- Willingness to participate and complete additional training
- Self-motivated, computer literate, and safety orientated with the ability to work under minimal supervision
Important Details:- Union Membership: You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
