Advanced Healthcare Solution Engineer (Solventum)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Interoperability & Integration Delivery
- Design and deliver secure, scalable integrations between Solventum solutions and customer healthcare systems. Work directly with customer IT teams, EMR vendors, and third-party providers to define, configure, validate, and troubleshoot interfaces using HL7, FHIR, APIs, and other interoperability standards.
Technical Discovery & Solution Design
- Conduct technical discovery activities to understand customer environments, infrastructure, workflows, and integration requirements. Translate business and technical needs into practical implementation approaches that align with product capabilities and established delivery patterns.
Solution Configuration & Technical Enablement
- Configure Solventum solutions to support customer-specific operational and clinical requirements. Ensure implementations are delivered in accordance with best practices, while balancing customer expectations, technical constraints, and long-term maintainability.
Validation, Testing & Go-Live Readiness
- Lead technical validation activities to ensure configured solutions and integrations perform as intended. Support testing, defect investigation, issue resolution, and deployment readiness activities to enable successful customer go-lives and smooth operational transitions.
Advanced Technical Support & Continuous Improvement
- Serve as an escalation point for technical issues during and after implementation. Partner with customers, support teams, product management, and other Solventum teams to diagnose problems, identify root causes, implement sustainable solutions, and drive continuous improvement across products and delivery practices. Capture implementation knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned, and share expertise with support, engineering, product management, and implementation teams to improve delivery quality, operational readiness, and customer outcomes across the organization.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology or computer engineering
AND
- 5 years of experience implementing, integrating, supporting, or delivering healthcare technology solutions, including experience working with healthcare interoperability standards, customer technical stakeholders, or healthcare information systems.
In addition to the above requirements, the following are alsorequired:
- 3 years experience implementing enterprise software solutions in healthcare environments.
- 3 Years experience working directly with customer IT teams, technical stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience with healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 v2.x, FHIR, APIs, and data exchange workflows.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues across applications, integrations, and infrastructure components.
- Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology from an accredited institution
- Seven (7) years of experience implementing, integrating, supporting, or delivering technology solutions in a private, public, government or military environment
- Experience with EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), Altera, Meditech, or equivalent systems.
- Experience with interface engines, integration platforms, and familiarity with SaaS deployments, cloud-hosted solutions, networking fundamentals, or identity management concepts.
- Experience supporting technical discovery, requirements analysis, solution configuration, testing, validation, go-live readiness, and production support activities.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis, document implementation knowledge, and share lessons learned with support, engineering, product management, and implementation teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
- French language proficiency.

The expected compensation range for this position is $85,739 - $106,399 CAD, which reflects the anticipated base salary for this role. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as a candidate’s experience, skills, training, and work location, in alignment with Canadian pay equity and pay transparency requirements.
