This role is designed for an RCM leader who combines deep industry operating experience with consulting expertise and a demonstrated record of leading complex transformation. The successful candidate will bring firsthand experience improving revenue cycle performance within health systems, hospitals, physician enterprises, ambulatory platforms, or other scaled provider organizations.

This leader will work directly with healthcare executives to address complex financial and operational challenges, leading RCM initiatives that accelerate cash, improve revenue realization, protect margin, strengthen liquidity, and create sustainable performance improvement.

Who You Are
  • You bring significant progressive experience across healthcare revenue cycle and financial operations, including meaningful leadership responsibility within a healthcare provider organization.
  • You are a revenue cycle subject matter expert with deep end-to-end knowledge across professional and facility revenue cycles, from patient access and authorization through charge capture, coding, claims, payment, accounts receivable, denials, and patient collections.
  • You have consulting or advisory experience and can translate deep industry expertise into actionable solutions for clients.
  • You have a demonstrated track record of transforming complex or underperforming revenue cycle operations and delivering measurable improvements in cash flow, accounts receivable, denials, revenue realization, productivity, and financial performance.
  • You have significant experience with health systems, hospitals, physician enterprises, physician practice management organizations, ambulatory platforms, or other scaled healthcare delivery organizations.
  • You possess strong financial acumen and understand revenue cycle through the broader lens of liquidity, working capital, margin, EBITDA, and enterprise value.
  • You are comfortable leading multidisciplinary teams, advising senior client stakeholders, and navigating technology, vendors, outsourced operations, and complex RCM environments.
  • You can build trusted client relationships, identify opportunities to create additional value, and contribute to business and practice development.
  • Additional experience with private equity-backed or multi-site healthcare organizations, M&A integration, distressed or rapidly scaling environments, major EHR and practice-management platforms, outsourced RCM models, or technology-enabled transformation is particularly valuable.

What You'll Do
  • Lead complex RCM engagements from diagnostic assessment through implementation and sustained performance improvement.
  • Assess revenue cycle environments, identify performance gaps, quantify financial opportunities, establish priorities, and translate findings into executable initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Drive transformation across the full revenue cycle, including patient access and authorization, clinical documentation and coding, charge capture and revenue integrity, claims and billing, payment and remittance, accounts receivable and denials, reimbursement, and patient financial services.
  • Help clients improve cash conversion, working capital, net revenue realization, cost to collect, productivity, margin, liquidity, and EBITDA.
  • Advise clients on operating model transformation, shared services, vendor and outsourcing strategies, and the effective use of technology, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence.
  • Lead teams and client stakeholders through complex situations, including underperformance, rapid growth, M&A integration, payer disruption, technology implementations, vendor challenges, and liquidity constraints.
  • Build trusted relationships with healthcare executives and serve as a hands-on advisor throughout engagement delivery.
  • Identify broader client needs and collaborate with colleagues across Riveron to bring additional capabilities and solutions to clients.
  • Develop and mentor team members while contributing to recruiting, knowledge development, thought leadership, and the continued growth of Riveron's Healthcare & Life Sciences capabilities.
  • Support business development by strengthening client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and contributing RCM expertise throughout the pursuit process.

Applications for this evergreen opportunity will be accepted through Dec 31, 2026.
