Job Description:

Withum's Healthcare Services Group is comprised of experts that have the depth and breadth of experience to fully understand the many challenges facing healthcare professionals today. The group provides advisory, audit and tax services to healthcare systems and hospitals, federally qualified health centers and community health centers, medical groups, physician and dental practices, healthcare joint ventures and various other types of healthcare organizations.

The successful candidate will work exclusively with Withum's Healthcare Services group providing audit services to healthcare organizations. You'll be working with a team of seasoned, well-known CPAs and industry leaders who are focused on the Healthcare industry. In this position, you have an opportunity to work with a strong team focused on the healthcare industry and be provided with a path to Partnership.

How You'll Spend Your Time:
  • Leading the engagement team staff on the planning and execution of an audit, review or compilation engagement to effectively and efficiently provide world-class client service to healthcare systems and hospital clients
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the audit engagement from staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting and the conclusion
  • Providing supervision and support to the engagement staff, seniors and supervisors and promoting open communication to the engagement partner
  • Collaborating with engagement team seniors or supervisors and partners on client issue resolution and make recommendations for any legal, regulatory and accounting issues that arise during an audit engagement
  • Managing multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines
  • Creating and tracking engagement budgets to review for inefficiencies that may arise during the audit
  • Conducting constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and providing counsel accordingly
  • Serving in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader

Western New York ranges are from $90,000 - $102,000 annually
