Full Job Description
The Opportunity:

The Health Strategies Practice Leader drives Hylant's well-being programs and strategies to ensure client offerings and internal expertise enable effective health strategy development for Hylant clients, focused on improving the lives of client employees and their families. The Health Strategies Practice Leader will also work with other Benefits Practice Resources to develop wholistic approaches to population health management, cost containment, and ensure a data driven approach to health strategies for clients.

In This Role You Will Execute On:
  • Design, develop, and implement health strategies programs and offerings available to clients; understanding unique client approaches to well-being and desired success factors to ensure program offerings meet client needs.
  • Continue to evolve the philosophy and effectiveness of the Health Strategies Practice focusing on all aspects of the health spectrum and population health.
  • Ensure the health strategies team members have appropriate tools and training to develop effective health strategies for Hylant clients.
  • Coach, guide, and foster knowledge expertise to bolster understanding and utilization of well-being offerings to develop appropriate solutions to meet client targeted objectives and contain costs.
  • Drive collaboration with health strategists and client service managers to ensure best practice sharing across the Hylant footprint.
  • Drive collaboration with health strategists and data analysts to develop data driven population health strategies for our clients.
  • Remain abreast of population health trends and best practices to ensure Hylant's program offerings remain current and foster a culture of well-being internally, and for our clients
  • Lead training and professional development of health strategies team members; lead internal education of Hylant's employee benefits team.
  • Educate clients on trending health and population health topics through external webinars.
  • Identify and cultivate external resources and vendor partnerships necessary for the practice aimed at delivering the most effective health strategies for clients.
  • Leverage corporate resources and outside counsel to ensure compliance resources specific to health strategies are available for clients.
  • Service as a subject matter expert to internal stakeholders, participate in current and prospective client meetings as needed to support sales and retention efforts.
  • Along with the Client Executive, service team, and health strategists, support "at risk" accounts in which health strategies is an integral component of their interest and impacts the relationship with Hylant.
  • Represent Hylant to the external well-being community; serving as a thought leader at national or local HR or well-being related conferences, attending wellness related events, and actively participate on boards or councils.
  • Perform other duties or special project as assigned.


In This Role You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field and/or minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of professional experience assessing, designing and implementing health and well-bring programs.
  • Excellent research skills with experience in market and company analysis are strongly preferred.
  • Team player with experience working both in teams and as an individual contributor.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Life & Health license preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel by car or airplane for meetings, conferences, or other business-related functions.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
