The Health IT Business Analyst II will serve as the liaison between Government stakeholders and technical teams by gathering business requirements, documenting processes, supporting system modernization efforts, and ensuring technical solutions align with business objectives. This is a remote position requiring all work be performed in the continental United States. US Citizenship is required for consideration for this position.
Essential Responsibilities- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirements sessions.
- Develop business process models, workflow diagrams, and use cases.
- Perform gap analyses and recommend process improvements.
- Support Agile backlog development and user story creation.
- Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Prepare functional specifications and business documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and project managers throughout implementation.
- Support organizational change management and training initiatives.
- Develop reports and presentations supporting executive decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline.
- Minimum seven (7) years of business analysis experience.
- Experience supporting federal IT modernization programs.
- Experience documenting business and functional requirements.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain DHS Public Trust suitability.
Preferred Qualifications- CBAP certification.
- Experience supporting Health IT or EHR initiatives.
- Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow experience.
- Experience supporting Federal healthcare organizations.
Compensation
Expected Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location (if applicable), and final contract funding.
This position is expected to support a federal customer. Employment is contingent upon contract award and successful completion of any required background investigation or security requirements.
