Qualifications

• Passion for senior care and a commitment to enhancing resident well-being.
• Proven leadership experience in healthcare settings, particularly in building and guiding effective care teams.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Background in Assisted Living, Geriatric Nursing, or experience with Dementia Care is essential.
• Experience with budget management and cost-efficiency practices in a healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with developing service plans and managing medication, along with adherence to infection control and safety standards.
• Ability to foster teamwork and empower staff while maintaining responsiveness to the needs of residents.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of assisted living and memory care departments.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring high-quality care is delivered.
• Lead and support a multidisciplinary management team, including various department directors.
• Conduct resident assessments to determine needs and document care accurately in an electronic system.
• Manage medication technicians and delegate nursing tasks appropriately to unlicensed staff.
• Fulfill additional leadership duties as required to support department needs.
